What you’ll learn:

• Apply security governance principles and develop comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures for organizations.
• Implement asset classification and data protection controls throughout the information lifecycle.
• Evaluate and apply security models, cryptographic solutions, and secure design principles to system architectures.
• Design and implement secure network architectures using appropriate protocols and segmentation strategies.
• Configure identity and access management solutions using industry-standard authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration tests to evaluate organizational security posture.
• Obtain the (ISC)² CISSP certification upon successfully passing the CISSP examination at the conclusion of the course*

Upon successful completion of this course and passing the CISSP examination, learners will earn the Associate of (ISC)² designation. The Associate of (ISC)² status recognizes that the individual has passed the CISSP exam and is on the path toward full certification. To achieve the full CISSP certification, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of cumulative, paid working experience in two or more of the eight CISSP domains. A four-year college degree, or an approved (ISC)² credential (e.g., SSCP, CCSP, CAP), satisfies one year of the required experience.
• Endorsement: Candidates must be endorsed by an active (ISC)² certified professional who can attest to their professional experience.
• Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF): Payment of the annual maintenance fee is required to maintain certification status.
• Continuing Professional Education (CPE): Earn and submit 40 CPE credits annually (120 CPE credits over a three-year certification cycle).

Note: A $500 Income-Based Reduced Fee for alumni earning under $60,000 annually. Spots are limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis, pending income verification, to ensure income is not a barrier to participation.
